Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How long does it take to have a text translated (or edited, transcribed and subtitled)?
It depends on the word count, the subject matter, the format and other requirements you might have. To give you an idea, an average output for translation is between 2000 and 3000 words per day and double for review. For transcription and subtitling, the output would be no more than 1 hour of audio/video per day (including the revision). Send me your file and I will give you a precise turnaround time for your project. I always make sure to schedule my projects in a way that allows me to deliver within the agreed deadline or earlier.
Q: I need a translation very urgently, can you help me?
Yes, as long as the requested turnaround time is reasonable based on the word count of your files. I can make your project a priority and work on it on a tight deadline. A rush surcharge may apply.
Q: Which payment methods do you accept?
I accept payments by PayPal, Transferwise and wire transfers in EUR, CAD and USD. Canadian customers can also pay by cheque or Interac transfer. All the transaction fees have to be covered by the client. Payment has to be made upon delivery, but restrictions apply.
